Landeslehrpreis 2019
Under the motto "Lehre - Leistung - Lob", Science Minister Theresia Bauer awarded the Landeslehrpreis 2019 on 4th December in Stuttgart. This year a total of six prizes were awarded to 20 people, including Julia Gurol and Ingo Henneberg from the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg, as well as Alexander Kobusch, Dr. Thomas Nielebock, Natalie Pawlowski, Dr. Gabi Schlag from the Eberhard-Karls-University of Tübingen, for inter-university ring seminars on peace and conflict research.
The project started as a digital lecture series and will enter its fifth year next summer semester. Each year 5-8 locations for peace and conflict studies in Germany take part, bringing together 130-150 participants. PACS Magdeburg has been involved since 2016 and will continue to enable interested students to participate in the coming semester. The next topic will be the Yemen conflict, with international and Yemeni experts participating.
