The course is primarily aimed at BA graduates in the social sciences and humanities, but the degree is also open to applicants from other disciplines. However, at a minimum of 30 CP must have been obtained in social sciences. Since the Master's programme in Peace and Conflict Studies is a postgraduate degree, students are expected to be familiar with academic research methods.
The programme is explicitly designed for international applicants. Admission to the programme itself does NOT include a scholarship. Applicants must provide their own funding. Foreign applicants can apply directly to the university via uni-assist, but are responsible for organising their own funding.
